raststättentheater is a German theatre collective, which was founded in Munich in 2018 by Alexandra Martini, Isabel Neander and Jakob Roth. Starting point of her independent work are their very own desires, fears and questions, which they then relate to the bigger picture and our society. They work as equal performers and authors, doing research, text production and scenic realization collectively.They have been funded by the cultural department of the city of Munich and the Richard Stury foundation, they have cooperated with the HochX Theater Munich and been on tour at the Berliner Ringtheater and the at.tension theatre festival Müritz.

Starting point of her self-determined work are subjective desires, fears and questions, which they try to localise and work relating to the society. Thereby they act as equal performer and authors who are doing the research, text production and scenic realization in common. They were funded for there artistic projects by the cultural department of the city of Munich and the Richard Stury foundation, cooperate with the HochX Theater Munich and invited with guest performances to the Berliner Ringtheater and the at.tension theatre festival Müritz.
Alexandra Martini
Alexandra Martini was born in 1990 Dachau. From 2010 until 2014 she studied acting at the university "Ernst Busch" Berlin. During her studies she played at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg Platz and the BAT Berlin. Since then she is working as a freelance actress, working with the German-Swiss "mikro-kit" theatre company and performing continuously her musical cabaret "Föhn und Schotter". Since 2016 she is working as a freelance journalist and moderator for the radio station Bayern2.
Isabel Neander:
Isabel Neander was born in 1989 in Munich. She studied philosophy (B.A.) and graduate the basic education to drama teacher (BuT) . She collected diverse experiences in the field of theatre as a performer and a theatre teacher. 2016 she made an advanced training for physical theatre in the Moveo Performing Arts Center in Barcelona. In winter 2017/2018 she initiated and led the theatre workshop "Life is not a pony farm" in the Kösk Munich. Where a group dealing with the topic "happiness" and developed together a performance.
Jakob Roth
Jakob Roth was born in 1989 in Munich. He studied directing at the acting university "Ernst Busch" Berlin. In this context he developed first theatre and film productions, which were shown at the HAU Berlin and the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin. His diploma productions " Why I'm secretly so fucking proud on my nazi grandpa" was invited to numerous theatre festivals: Glasnost festival Norway, arena of young arts festival Erlangen, Kaltstart festival Hamburg. From 2015 until 2017 he was assistant director at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg Platz Berlin. There he worked with directors René Pollesch, Christoph Marthaler, Herbert Fritsch, Ragnar Kjartansson, set up a film series and directing the play-development "Maybe I should leave the beautiful desert inside me". 2019 he developed in cooperation with the Theatre5 the play-development "The possibility of a ocean".
